My heart is already fluttering at the news that the 'Busan Sea Festival (Busan Bada Chukje)', a summer festival that represents Busan, has returned once again. This 29th Busan Sea Festival will be with us at Dadaepo Beach for exactly three days, from August 1 to August 3, 2025.

As soon as I arrived at Dadaepo, the salty sea scent brushing against my nose and the cool sea breeze touching my skin greeted me. Although it is a place already famous for its beautiful sunset (nakjo), Dadaepo during the festival flows with a completely different energy. Getting to Dadaepo Beach (Dadaepo Haesuyokjang) is easier than you think. If you use Subway Line 1 and get off at Dadaepo Beach Station (Dadaepo Haesuyokjang-yeok), you can reach the sea in no time. Since large crowds can gather during the festival period, it is much more comfortable to use public transportation.

To share my own tips for enjoying the festival 200%, the first is definitely timing. I recommend arriving around 5 PM to enjoy a short swim during the day, and then watching the mesmerizing sunset that begins at 6 PM. And don't miss the places to look around nearby. If you check the schedule for the Dadaepo Dream Sunset Fountain (Dadaepo Kkum-ui Nakjo Bunsu) near the festival venue in advance and combine your visit, it will be a perfect day.
