The highlight of the festival was definitely the 43-meter-long runway placed on the bridge. It was very impressive to see the road, where cars used to travel, transform into a spectacular stage for a dancing festival. The heavy vibrations of the bridge felt with every step, the sound of waves coming from afar, and the cheers of the people mixed to provide a strange sense of liberation. It didn't feel like a festival to just watch, but rather an experience of personally feeling the raw charm of Yeongdo. In the sight of some dancing and others busy capturing the scenery, I could feel the inherent vitality of the festival.

If you have finished watching the festival, how about enjoying more of Yeongdo's leisure? The area around the bridge is a place deeply soaked in the scent of history. When visiting the festival, I recommend wearing comfortable sneakers. The sea breeze is quite strong, so a light outer garment is essential. If you visit on a weekend afternoon, you can fully enjoy the lively atmosphere of the festival, and if you stay until sunset, you can get a bonus of the lyrical landscape of Yeongdo, which is completely different from the daytime.
